How much do movers cost in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Our standard rate is $120 an hour for a 2-mover crew with a truck. Most local moves land between $350 and $900 depending on home size and access. You get an upfront quote with no fees for stairs, fuel, or wrapping.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. TL Moving is fully licensed with the Texas DMV and carries liability and cargo insurance. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for your building or HOA before move day.
Do you offer same-day or last-minute moves?
Often, yes. We're based in Garland and open 7 days a week, so we can sometimes fit in same-day or next-day moves when crews are open. Call (469) 881-9286 and we'll check availability.
What areas do you serve?
The whole Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex from our Garland base — Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Irving, Arlington, Fort Worth, and the suburbs in between. If you're in DFW, we cover you.
Do you really move vending machines and micro markets?
Yes, it's one of our specialties. We move snack and soda machines, glass-front coolers, and micro-market equipment with stair-climbing dollies and the right technique. Most movers won't touch these — we do them weekly.
Do you provide packing and boxes?
Yes. We offer full or partial packing and bring every box, roll of tape, and sheet of paper. You can have us pack the whole house or just the fragile items like dishes, TVs, and mirrors.
How far in advance should I book?
A few days out is ideal for a full house, especially on weekends and at month-end. Smaller moves we can often book on shorter notice, so it's always worth a quick call.
What can't you move?
For safety, we can't transport hazardous materials, flammables, propane tanks, or perishable food. Plants and pets should ride with you. Just about everything else is fair game.
